The Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) provides skilled care to patients and supports veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services. This role combines technical expertise, patient care, and client communication. 

Hours are M-F 8-5, select Saturdays 8-1

No evenings. No overnights. No Sundays. We have a big emphasis on work-life balance. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, dentistry and surgery
  • Monitor anesthesia and ensure patient safety during procedures
  • Perform laboratory tests, imaging, laser treatments, and patient assessments
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Provide nursing care, including patient monitoring and recovery
  • Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and at-home care
  • Maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications:

  • Maintain Certification as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Illinois
  • Strong technical and clinical skills

  • Experience in a veterinary or medical setting is preferred but not required
