I am newer to the area, but had not yet established care with a vet. I am so grateful that I found Heartland Vet Hospital. My sweet boy, Leo, wasn't doing so well and I was in a hurry to find a good vet to examine him. I called with the hopes of maybe being seen in a week or so. By the grace of God, I was able to get Leo in to be seen that day. He was treated so well by all of the staff and they were all so kind. We had a follow-up appointment a few days later for some imaging. Unfortunately, our worst fears became a reality - our sweet dog had cancer. Dr. Hartnagel was so patient with me as she answered all of my questions and helped me understand all of the options. Leo passed away at home peacefully a few days later. Heartland Vet Hospital sent us the sweetest card with sympathies from the staff. I am so thankful for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time. I will be forever grateful for their amazing care.
